"The Wandering Stars" conquer hearts again! On October 27, the San Francisco theater's touring premiere took place in Sacramento, combined with a lecture about Les Kurbas and a charity auction. The funds raised will go to gifts for orphans for St. Nicholas Day.

Dim Anhela (House of Angel) in Hoshiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, is a special place where orphans find love, care, and a real family atmosphere. Founded by the You Angel Foundation, it gives children not only shelter, but also education, medical care, summer camps, and happy memories. Thanks to the support of NGO Hromada and volunteers, the project keeps growing with big future plans. Here, every child has a chance to feel at home.

In Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, a new rehabilitation center “4.5.0. Prykarpattia” for war veterans is opening this summer. This project was the dream of fallen soldier Oleh Perehuda, now carried forward by his wife, Vasylyna. Here, Heroes will receive free physical, psychological, and social support to rebuild their lives.

In March, the month of women's creativity and strength, the Lesya Ukrainka Department No. 107 of the Ukrainian Women's Association organized an exhibition of works by Ukrainian women at Google (San Francisco Bay Area). The exhibition featured paintings, graphics, mosaics, photography, and decorative arts. Each artist presented not only her work, but also her personal story, intertwining her roots, emigration, and war experiences. The exhibition was complemented by poetry readings and lively conversation, creating an atmosphere of warmth that unites Ukraine and California.

On the second anniversary of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian diaspora in San Francisco held a series of events: a car rally near the Ferry Building, a meeting in Tibor as part of the “We” platform, and a screening of the film “Bucha” at the Consulate General of Ukraine. These events united the community, honored the victims, and reaffirmed Ukraine’s unwavering support for freedom.

The “Flyers” from San Francisco have been helping Ukraine for two years. Every week, volunteers send humanitarian aid to Poland, and from there to the front lines. This includes bulletproof vests, helmets, medicine, and other life-saving items. Together, we are protecting the skies over Ukraine!
