Theater Workshop by Wandering Stars

Everyone who has ever wondered what happens behind the scenes is invited by Traveling Stars to join our very first workshop!

You’ll enjoy tea and homemade treats while learning about the history and development of theater, from ancient times to the present day. You’ll hear how a production begins, discover the many professions that make theater possible, and learn what each person does behind the scenes. We promise it won’t be boring!

Then you’ll get hands-on experience with some of the techniques actors use to develop imagination, diction, facial expression, and vocal skills. You’ll also explore stage movement, learn what a theatrical étude is, and even work in small groups with our actors to create your own short theatrical scenes.

Tickets are $25. Discounted tickets are available for guests under 21 and ages 62+ for $20.
