Run for Ukraine 2022
Dear friends, Hromada is carrying on with the series of sporting events as part of our fundraising work to provide humanitarian support to Ukraine. Run for Ukraine is a walk-and-run event followed by post-race festivities that is fun and suitable for individuals of all athletic abilities beginners and competitive runners alike.
The event will take place in a beautiful San Francisco Golden Gate Park on Oct 22nd at 11am (google map meeting spot https://goo.gl/maps/dDmT81dsZniN3VSR7).
How to sign up:
- Choose 5 or 10K distance,
- Tell us your expected pace per mile,
- Donate $50 per person to Hromada PayPal link here with a note “Run for Ukraine”; or $80 for a family of two or more,
- Optional, but very recommended, join us for post race lunch at the finish line; tickets go for $20 per individual or $50 per family of three or more,

Event Report
Greetings friends! Our tireless volunteers and wonderful hostesses continue to work hard helping Hromada accumulate funds to support initiatives to help Ukrainian orphans, disabled people and finance educational programs.
With our joint efforts, a small fair was held on October 2, 2022 in Golden Park, San Francisco. Visitors to the park were able to taste Ukrainian delicacies, buy souvenirs with our symbols, chat and support us in this fight.
The result of the day was not only a good mood from joint work, but also a collection in the amount of $ 1, 714.04! A wonderful result! A huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers and guests of our event!
This is our new experience in this type of fundraising, so next time we will expand our menu and invite everyone to be active participants in our events 🙂
