The Ukrainian Amateur Theater “Traveling Stars” invites children and adults to a performance based on the fairy tale by Ivan Yakovych Franko “The Painted Fox.” You can expect a true celebration – puppets, masks, talented actors, adventures, and humor.

Production – Bohdan Pindus-Pastukh

Adaptation based on Franko’s text – Olena Bilyak

The performance runs without an intermission. Before the beginning and after the end, you will be treated to tea, coffee, and snacks. After the performance, children will have the opportunity to take photos with their favorite characters from the fairy tale.

Tickets: $15 for children, $30 for adults.

The theater will donate the proceeds from the performance to help Ukraine. Please make your payment through the link in favor of the nonprofit organization “Hromada” in San Francisco and its foundation “Angel.” Give your children a celebration and smiles!

Event Report

The Wandering Stars Continue Their Tour Through Northern California!
At the invitation of the Ukrainian community of Sacramento, "The Dyed Fox" and all the animals of the enchanted forest delighted the children and brought joy to their hearts. This is the fourth theatrical production organized in partnership with Hromada in support of the Anhelyk Foundation and its initiatives in Ukraine.

Children and adults alike enjoyed the wonderful performance by the actors, who successfully transported everyone into a magical forest filled with the adventures of its inhabitants.
The audience discovered many valuable lessons and returned home in high spirits with memorable souvenirs won during the charity auction.

On behalf of the nonprofit organization Hromada, we sincerely thank all our guests, our amazing actors, and artistic director Yelena Bilyak, as well as Natalie Kokhanyy for her help in securing the venue for the show, Andriy Shegera and PodiyaSound for generously providing sound equipment free of charge, and Ihor Butkovskyi and Veronika Buliuk for the beautiful paintings donated for the auction.

A special thank-you to all the active participants in the auction with valuable items—thanks to our collective efforts, we raised $2,025, with expenses of $440, resulting in a $1,585 fundraising total.

Thank you!
See you next time, friends!
