Meet the heroes of Mariupol in San Francisko

Come and talk to Ukrainian Defenders who were bravely protecting Mariupol city, fending off the russian Army in March - May 2022, buying Ukrainian Armed Forces precious time at the cost of their lives.

They were captured in late May and liberated during the prisoner's exchange in June. Ukraine liberated many more defenders just recently in an unprecedented POW exchange. Wives and mothers of those recently exchanged will also be present at our event.

Our community will glimpse into the horrible events of the city's siege and provide their perspective on how the Russian and Ukrainian Armies conducted this war.

Defending Mariupol is one of the most courageous events in modern Ukrainian history, and the World has the right to know how it happened.

There will be six speakers:
three released defenders
one relative of a defender that is still in captivity
