"For The Children of Ukraine" - Charity Evening

Dear friends,
We invite you to a charity evening to raise funds for Ukrainian orphaned children.
Our evening's guests, Orest and Hanna, will bring us a wonderful musical program. There will also be an opportunity to participate in an auction with truly valuable items!
Your presence will support the ongoing funding of the Hromada initiatives and its "Angelyk" foundation.
Let's unite our efforts to ensure that children's smiles can brighten faces even during the tough times of war.
This aid has been provided to Ukraine since 2018 and is incredibly important.
A suggested donation of $65 includes tasty snacks, dessert, tea, and coffee.

See you there, friends!

Event Report

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, a wonderful charity evening, "For the Children of Ukraine," was held at Ukrainian Hall, San Francisco. The guests of the evening had the opportunity to feel the unity of our hearts around the common goal of helping Ukrainian children who lost their parents in the ruzzian-Ukrainian war. The concert program, brought to us from Los Angeles by our talented guests, Hanna Kohanchik and Orest, consisted of two parts. During the break, the guests had the opportunity to actively participate in the charity auction and mingle.

The common fundraising goal was achieved!

Together, we managed to accumulate $7,165. The costs of organizing the event amounted to $1,222.10, resulting in a net gain of $5,942.90!

We sincerely thank our artists for creating a festive atmosphere and for their excellent Ukrainian and world-hits performances! Special thanks to Father Peter and the administration of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in San Francisco for graciously providing the Ukrainian Hall San Francisco and to PodiyaSound for the impeccable sound and lighting design of the concert program provided free of charge, led by Andriy Shegera. We also thank Volodymyr Parubets for providing transportation free of charge to bring the musical equipment and for general assistance. Thanks to Ivan Haid and Veronica Shoba for their active help at the event.

We are grateful to our donors for the valuable auction items: Rostyslav Tistyk for a souvenir set of 8 chevrons from combat units of the Lviv region, Yelena Bilyak for a three-volume collection of Ukrainian poetry and prose, Kateryna Vlasyuk for a bead-encrusted backpack, and Tetyana Solovay for an Easter egg decorated with a Petrykivka painting.

Marina Anisovych, the treats you provided for our guests always create a homely atmosphere—thank you!

To all active participants in the auction and guests of the evening, thank you!

Friends, your zeal and love for Ukraine are inspiring!

Together to victory!

Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

Glory to the heroes! 🇺🇦

P.S. Funds in the amount of $1,000 obtained from the auction sale of three works embroidered with beads by master Maria Rakus from the Lviv region were already sent to her on July 22. They will support her large family during this difficult time.
