Concert by Oleg Skrypka
On December 18, 2021, a charity concert by Oleg Skrypka was held in Davis, organized by the NGO “Hromada” in support of orphaned children whose parents died defending Ukraine. The audience enjoyed live singing, saxophone accompaniment by Andriy Lesny, a warm atmosphere, and also took part in a charity auction. All proceeds were donated to the Angelik Foundation.
Event Report
On December 18, 2021, a charity concert by the famous Ukrainian singer Oleg Skrypka took place in Davis. His songs left no one indifferent. People enjoyed wonderful music, beautiful professional singing, a friendly atmosphere, and the opportunity to socialize. The evening was complemented by Andriy Lesny's beautiful saxophone playing.
The goal of the event—to collect donations for Ukrainian children whose fathers and mothers heroically died defending Ukraine—was achieved.
The organizers of the concert, the NGO “Hromada,” are sincerely grateful to everyone who took part in our charity event for the Angelik Foundation. Our thanks go to Oleg Skrypka, who supported our initiative, Andriy Lesny for his wonderful saxophone accompaniment and technical support for the evening, Alina Ilchuk for information support and PR, and Khristina Kozuk for her beautiful painting entitled “Blue Moon, Blue Tide,” which was kindly provided for auction and ultimately sold for $600! Yulia Kosivchuk, who also kindly provided her own books and New Year's decorations, which were quickly snapped up by the evening's guests! Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco Dmytro Kushneruk for his support and active participation in communicating with Greg Kid, investor in Twitter and Square. All the volunteers at our event, namely: Maria Venkova, Svitlana Filimoshkina, Yevhen Nedovesov, and Yuriy Kolesnikov.
Special thanks go to Ethno FM Radio and Ms. Natalia Bagmut for announcements and informational support, as well as to all the guests of the evening who spent this wonderful event with us and contributed to the fundraising for the orphaned children of our fallen heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war with their donations.
