CHICAGO, IL - September 2026 - At a time when Ukraine's healthcare system continues to carry the extraordinary burden of war, the Foreign Council USA of the Order of Saint Panteleimon is preparing to honor individuals and organizations whose service has brought medical care, humanitarian assistance, expertise, and hope to Ukrainians.

The Order of Saint Panteleimon Awards Gala 2026 will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Chicago. The evening will bring together leaders from medicine, humanitarian service, civic life, philanthropy, and the Ukrainian-American community to recognize those who have transformed compassion into sustained action for Ukraine.
This year's keynote speaker will be John Hewko, CEO and General Secretary of Rotary International. His remarks will reflect on service, leadership, and the power of international partnership in addressing humanitarian challenges and supporting Ukraine.
The 2026 recipients of the Order of Saint Panteleimon recognized through the Foreign Council USA are Edward Ma, Founder and President of Ed's Friends, and Revived Soldiers Ukraine. Certificates of Merit will recognize Dr. Stuart Seiff, Dr. Jorge Corona, Dr. Steve Orten, Dr. Chandra Hassan, Dr. Michael A. Samotowka, Dr. Yevhen Pavelko, Dr. Mark Hnatyuk, LELEKA, the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA), Ukrainian Heroes Fund, and PROTEZ Foundation.
