"Admit to me...": in the rhythm of the Ukrainian heart
In the city of San Jose, a special charity evening for Valentine's Day, "Admit to Me..." took place — an event that united the Ukrainian community around art, words, music, and a common goal: supporting Ukraine and its defenders.
The event was organized by the volunteer organization Ukraine Support Foundation (USF). For USF, these are not just cultural events — they are a way to turn creativity into real help for those who are defending Ukraine today.

The theme of the evening was the atmosphere of the 60s–70s — a time of flourishing Ukrainian songs, style, and aesthetics, when embroidered shirts and coral necklaces came back into fashion, and stages were filled with melodies that still live in our hearts today.
The program featured favorite songs of the era: "Chervona Ruta," "Everywhere the Wild Garlic Blooms," "Two Colors." Guests supported the mood of the event with their outfits, and the warm light of the hall, Ukrainian cuisine, and live music created a space of special sincerity and unity.
The concert program was rich and emotional. The stage featured songs, poetry, and instrumental music performed by:
- Anatoliy Matviychuk
- Anychka
- Bohdan Andrukha
- poetic words — Ivanna Andreykiv
- instrumental accompaniment — Sofiya Sokolovych
The musical atmosphere of the evening was created by Andriy Shehera and Oleksandr Kovalchuk — guests danced, smiled, and experienced the evening in a special way to their music.
The hosts of the evening were Marta Shehera and Ihor Lutskiy, who guided guests through the event in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Throughout the evening, there was a feeling in the hall as if time had turned back — to the era when Ukrainian songs played from tape recorders in every home, when people fell in love to "Chervona Ruta," and remembered the dearest things to "Two Colors." People sang along with the performers, quietly humming familiar lines, and some couldn't hold back tears — because these melodies have a personal story for each of us.
A separate part of the event was a charity auction of paintings by famous Ukrainian artists. The works sparked lively interest among the guests, and the auction atmosphere added a special uplift to the evening.

All funds raised during the event will be donated to the needs of Ukraine's defenders. This goal was the heart of the evening — as every song, every word, and every smile in the hall that day worked towards a common cause.
The organizers sincerely thank everyone who participated: guests, volunteers, artists, and patrons. Thanks to such events, the Ukrainian community abroad not only maintains a cultural connection with the homeland but also turns art into effective support for those who stand in its defense today.
This evening was an example of how music, poetry, and culture can unite people around a great goal — helping Ukraine.
Because that evening in San Jose, the Ukrainian heart beat in one rhythm — the rhythm of love, memory, and faith in victory.
