St. Petersburg, Florida, transformed into the center of Ukrainian life for two days during the 44th annual Ukrainian Autumn Festival — a grand celebration dedicated to Ukrainian culture, music, art, traditions, and the indomitable spirit of our community. The celebration took place at the Epiphany of Our Lord Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and gathered Ukrainians of all ages, creating an atmosphere of unity, warmth, and genuine patriotism.

Two Days of Music, Dance, and Art

During the two days of the festival, guests enjoyed a rich concert program featuring singers, musical bands, dance ensembles, children's groups, and theatrical performers. The stage was filled with Ukrainian folk songs and contemporary compositions that inspired and energized the audience.

The festival united both professional artists and amateur groups from various corners of Florida and other states. Bright costumes, lively dances, and heartfelt vocal performances created a truly festive atmosphere, reminding everyone of the strength and beauty of Ukrainian traditions.

An Atmosphere Created by Volunteers

An integral part of the event was the Ukrainian cuisine prepared by volunteers. Guests were offered varenyky, holubtsi, borscht, shashlik, traditional sweets, and homemade pastries. The aromas of native cuisine and the warm atmosphere transported visitors to memories of home.

Volunteers were responsible not only for preparing the dishes but also for organizing the venue, coordinating locations, and assisting guests. Thanks to their dedication, the Autumn Festival once again became a harmonious and welcoming celebration.

A Platform for Uniting Ukrainians in the USA

The Ukrainian Autumn Festival has long been an important event for Ukrainians in Florida and the entire U.S. diaspora. It brings together people of different ages and professions who strive to preserve their identity, support Ukraine, and pass on our culture and spiritual values to future generations.

This year's festival confirmed that the Ukrainian community in Florida is active, united, creative, and incredibly strong. At a time when Ukraine is fighting for freedom, such events have special significance: they support morale, strengthen bonds, and remind the world of the resilience of the Ukrainian people.
