The Anhelyk Foundation, founded under the auspices of the non-profit organization Hromada, continues its noble mission – to support children who lost their parents while defending Ukraine’s sovereignty from Russian invaders. Our goal is to provide each child with a gift of $50 for the Christmas holidays to show that the Ukrainian diaspora remembers their loss and supports them. This initiative is not only material, but also moral support, which evokes numerous words of gratitude from families in Ukraine. We express our sincere gratitude to all donors and volunteers who joined our charitable actions. Thanks to your support, we were able to achieve significant results, and we are grateful to each of you for your concern!

In 2020, thanks to your participation, the Angelik Foundation raised $39,385 for 787 children, which is more than double the amount raised in 2019, when $15,337 was raised. These funds were transferred to Ukraine at the rate of $50 for each child whose parents died defending Ukraine’s independence. The total amount in hryvnias was 1,102,780 hryvnias. The funds were distributed as follows:

  • Lviv region: 134 children received $6,735.
  • Ternopil region: 42 children received $2,100.
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region: 51 children received $2,550.

In total, assistance was provided to 722 children for a total amount of $39,385. The list of donors and volunteers who made this result possible is published on the second page of the Hromada newspaper. We sincerely thank each of you for your generosity and support.
