On September 18, 2021, Gromada and the Angelik Foundation held a charity gala at the Tiburon Yacht Club, raising $2,888 for children of fallen Ukrainian soldiers. The evening featured Ukrainian music, an art auction, and a virtual talk with journalist Vitaliy Portnikov.

Ukrainian Day in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco

Multicultural Children’s Festival in Cupertino

On August 14, 2021, Ukrainians in Northern California represented Ukraine at the Kids Fun Festival in Cupertino, one of Silicon Valley’s largest multicultural events. Volunteers created an interactive booth showcasing Ukrainian traditions, crafts, and music, engaging thousands of visitors and helping promote Ukrainian culture and unity in the community.
