About us and our mission

Hromada» is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for the benefit of the Ukrainian community. Its purpose is to promote and support educational, cultural and charitable activities of Ukrainian diaspora. «Hromada» in Ukrainian means "community", or organized body of people who work collaboratively to achieve common goals.

Our organization publishes a monthly newspaper with the same name «Hromada». The first issue came out in December 2017. The purpose of the newspaper is to highlight in Ukrainian community wide variety of topics, including political, cultural, educational, and charitable which related to our everyday life, culture, heritage, and history.

We also lead the charitable project-foundation “Anhelyk”. Thanks to our fundraising events and donations of our donors, each year for Christmas holidays we send monetary assistance to families with children, who lost their parents in the war in Eastern Ukraine.
