
On October 27, 2024, in Roseville, Sacramento, California, at the invitation of the Ukrainian community, the first Ukrainian amateur theater, the Wandering Stars from San Francisco, held its touring premiere. This is the second event that we held together with Hromada with a charitable mission in favor of the orphans of fallen Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War, in order to give a sense of celebration and smiles during the Christmas and New Year holidays. There was a wonderful theatrical performance, combined with an informative lecture-presentation about the life and work of Les Kurbas “The Clever Harlequin”, conducted by the director and director of the theater, Ms. Yelena Bilyak The theater actors Olena Petrova, Diana Yavorska, Bohdan Pyndus-Pastukh, Tetiana Lozhnevska, Vadzim Pryshchepau, Natasha Karpenko showed excerpts from the plays by Mykola Kulish “People’s Malachy”, “Maklena Grasa”, “Mina Mazaylo”. Thank you to the entire team for your inspired play and the positive emotions given to the audience! We are grateful to all those present and active participants of the auction, this is our joint success! This time, the artist Igor Butkovsky (three canvases) and Anna Aksyonova (one canvas) kindly provided their works for the auction, all works were successfully sold to the participants of the evening. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the evening a success.
